Loughborough Training Focus Camps Private Group Summary
If your group loves running & wants to improve: Training Focus Camps are for you
Our standard offering is a 2day, 1night camp, usually a weekend, and prices start at £250. For your private group, we can adapt to your preferences. So whether you want a single day camp, or a week-long stay we can provide an engaging itinerary that meets your requirements.
Our camps focus on high-performance coaching and athlete education, you will learn from industry-leading experts and leave equipped with the knowledge and inspiration to improve your running.
During the camp, you will be coached through seminar sessions, practical & theoretical workshops, and running sessions under the watchful eye of our expert team. We will also arrange an exciting Q&A and athlete meet up with an elite athlete to inspire your team long beyond the camp itself.
The camps are action-packed; Full of high-quality, engaging content, and stimulating training sessions. There is of course, also time to relax and recover between training with planned downtime and social sessions.
Your camp will be led by a Head Coach and a Camp Coordinator, with additional Sports Performance Experts leading sessions on their specialty areas. You will have comprehensive pre-camp customer support from our Loughborough based office.
Typically, a camp will include running specific sessions led by our Head Coach, and additional sessions led by our Sports Performance Experts on their specialist subjects. For example, on previous camps we have been joined by elite Sports Physiotherapists who have coached our runners on biomechanics, running form, and injury mitigation strategies. Your camp may include experts on Strength & Conditioning, Sports Psychology or Sports Nutrition. We can provide this itinerary for you or work with you to meet your group’s specific demands. For example, if there is a specific area of sports science that you would like to include.

What to Expect
(As an example of a 2 day camp itinerary)
Before the Camp Begins
Comprehensive Pre Camp Customer Support.
Our team are on hand to help you with everything you need and to answer all your questions in advance of the camp before and after you have booked your place.
Before you arrive you will receive comprehensive pre-camp information with everything you need to prepare for the camp ahead. This will include additional information on the camp itinerary and the running sessions which will be part of the camp in order that you can plan in advance and know what you need to bring along.
Travel as far as Loughborough University is your responsibility, although we can of course help and advise on this, so if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
Arrival 08:45 – 09:00
Upon arrival, our team will be on hand to welcome you to the Elite Athlete Hotel, your home for the weekend.
The camp will start with a brief introduction meeting where you will be introduced to the team, and then we will be straight into the action.
Across the day we will spend time in both seminars and practical breakouts. If you have a large group, we will subdivide into smaller groups for the breakout sessions
It is a busy day, but rest periods will be built into the schedule.
After our evening meal, we will be joined by our special guest for a relaxed Q&A session, before spending the rest of the evening socialising ahead of another busy day tomorrow.

Sunday is another busy day and will start early with coffee and snacks before we head out for a run.
The rest of the day will follow a similar format to Saturday with seminars and practical sessions on both recovery and strength training led by our Sports Performance Experts. We will conclude the camp with a fun quiz to see who has been paying attention during the camp.
The camp will close around 17:00

Our venue is the Elite Athlete Centre which sits in the heart of Loughborough’s world-class sporting facilities, overlooking the Paula Radcliffe Athletics Centre and Seb Coe High Performance Centre (Hipac); Both venues we will use for our own training sessions during the weekend.
